2-day trial match for Berbice U-15 cricketers this weekend
Castrol team to be named on Monday
Berbice under-15 cricketers will continue preparations for the upcoming Castrol Inter County tournament with a two day trial match at the Rose Hall Canje ground from Saturday.
The Berbice Junior selectors have reduced the original squad of 54 players to 26 for the game which starts at 10:0hrs both days. The following players are asked to report to the Canje Ground for 9:00hrs on Saturday and Sunday.
Trevor Thomas, Kandasammy Surujnarine, Sachin Dhaniram, Jamal Henry, Rajendra Dasrat, Linden Austin, Davendra Jainabi, Veerapen Permaul, Bisham Persaud, Mark Basdeo, Quancy McPherson, Romario De Jonge, Lloydel Lewis, Shawn Perriera, Gudakesh Motie, Jamal Jarvis, Videsh Lall, Martyn Weatherspoon, Kevin Ramdeen, Orlando Tanner, Shilendra Shameer, Avinash Wajib, Judason Bess, Brandon Balkissoon, Naim Yacoob and Abdool Sudhan.
The 14 man squad would be selected on Sunday after the match and will be released at a Press Conference at the Board Office on Monday by the Chairman of the Selectors Leslie Solomon. Julian Cambridge has been appointed manager of the team while former West Indies under-19 captain Andre Percival, is the coach.
