PM on toddler to be done today
STANLEYTOWN, NEW AMSTERDAM — An autopsy is expected to be performed later today on the body of 21-month-old Attiea McAllister, of Lot 54 Stanleytown, New Amsterdam. The child’s 14-year-old sibling and father remain in police custody as the probe into her death continues.
According to police reports, the teenaged girl told detectives that a ‘spiritual being’ instructed her to kill the toddler. There are no marks of violence on the infant’s body. Police are still to determine how the actual act was carried out, and are relying on the findings of the autopsy.
The child was reportedly left in the care of the father and two older siblings when the incident occurred at their home on Wednesday.
