Essequibo Cricket Board name committees
The new executive of the Essequibo Cricket Board has recently named their committees at a meeting held in the county.
The committees named are the disciplinary, selection and competition, while they have also elected the cricket development officer.
The disciplinary committee will be headed by the board’s president Sheik Ahmad and includes Linden Daniels and Carl Brandon, while the junior selection committee will be chaired by Faizul Bacchus and comprises of Roland Persaud and Forbes Daniels.
The competition committee, which is made up of one member from each area committee namely East Bank Essequibo, Bartica, Leguan, Wakenaam, South, North and Central Essequibo and Pomeroon will be chaired by Edward Skeete. The board’s cricket development office is Elroy Stephney.
