Vagrant found dead
The dead man’s body lying in the sand.
A male vagrant was discovered dead in an unfinished three-storey building at D’Urban Street and Louisa Row, Wortmanville, yesterday morning by nearby construction workers.
The deceased, of African ancestry, was clad in a cream short pants and yellow shirt, and was lying on a carboard pallet with blood oozing from his head and nostrils.
According to persons in the area, the man would usually “knock around” Wortmanville doing odd jobs, and they suspect that he may have originated from Albouystown.
The police are carrying out investigations to determine the man’s identity.
