It boggles the mind
Dear Editor,
I am tired reading of the shenanigans going on at the New Amsterdam Stelling. One does not have to be a rocket scientist to know that what is going on is naked corruption — to allow one vehicle to jump the queue of other vehicles patiently waiting their turn in line to board the ferry.
Mr. Editor, what annoys me is the fact that, although the complaints are numerous and spread over a long period of time, no steps have been taken to remove all the officials at that terminus and to transfer them some place else, where they cannot continue their shameful behaviour. Why this has not been done a long time ago, and why no one has ever been prosecuted, boggles the mind.
