Dear Editor,
Terrorism is definitely on the increase globally and the attack on Mumbai, India is a clear indication that we need to keep our eyes open more widely.
CARICOM should shift a lot of focus on this issue in terms of strengthening our security measures regionally, for these individuals are becoming wiser and have increased access to high tech weaponry.
Bear in mind foreigners ply this route in numbers for many reasons and we should be prepared should there be a CARICOM 9/11. Overseas-based agencies should also review their security measures for personnel.
