Patriots, Royals record latest LABA C/ship triumphs
Play in the Linden Amateur Basketball Association’s Senior Club basketball championship continued at the Mackenzie Sports Club hard court on Saturday night with wins for Patriots and Victory Valley Royals.
Patriots beat Glands Trucking Service Bulls 65-54, while Victory Valley Royals won against New Ballers 77-56.
The Patriots led (18-11) (35-27) (55-31), (65-54) in the respective quarters. Neil Marks 23 points, Julius Carter 19 and Trevor added 15 for Patriots. For Bulls- Mark Rose scored a game high 28 points and Ruel McKinnon supported with 7.
Royals defeated New Ballers 77-56. Royals were propelled to victory through Dwayne Roberts with 24 points, Orlando Glasgow 16 and Anson Durant 15, while for the losing Ballers- Eon Reddock 16 had points, Ivor Blair 14 and Rondell Grant 13.
