USS Kearsarge vets look at cab horses
Veterinarians from the USS Kearsarge expanded their area of operation to include the medical examination of several horses used in the horse cart industry around the city. The vets carried out deworming exercises and also treated the horses for mange and other ailments. Here one of the veterinarians administers a solution to an infected horse.
