Body found at sea wall
The body of the apparently destitute man that was found on the seawall yesterday afternoon.
The patrons of a popular seaside restaurant were shocked yesterday as, at approximately 14:30 hours, members of the Guyana Police Force swarmed the seawall following the discovery of the body of a man, approximately 40 years of age, along the beach.
Police ranks conducted their investigations along the shore line after the body was discovered lying facedown, bleeding from wounds to the head.
The right arm was torn open just below the elbow. The man was apparently identified as a destitute. Despite this, the police said, a post mortem will be conducted, and their investigations will continue.
