GABA double-header on today

The Guyana Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) has planned a double header for today, at the Burnham Hardcourt on Middle and Carmichael Streets.
The first game will see Dyna’s Ravens battle Bounty Colts in a Third Division match-up, while Beepat Scorpions take on Pepsi Sonics in a First Division encounter.
Ravens will be led by speedy guard Biniam Norton fresh off a 36 points performance against Courts Pacesetters and he is expected to receive support from recently crowned double slam dunk champion Tyrone Hamid and 6’7″ centre Keno George, while Colts quest for victory will depend on how well power forward Dexter Walcott and the robe brothers Ryon and Nakita plays.
In the senior game, point guard Sheldon Braithwaite must be at his lethal best to thwart the ambitions of Pepsi Sonics.
Forward Travis Foster and the imposing Jaime Mayers are anticipated to lend solid support, while Sonics’ Aubrey Austin, Ryan ‘Showtime’ Melville and Richard Braithwaithe could prove the decisive factors in their team’s search for victory.
