Quarrel ends in cutlass attack
A heated fracas between two friends ended up with one sustaining multiple chops about his body.
The injured man was identified as Neil Williams of Timehri; he sustained chops to his hands and head.
He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital by the army ambulance on Sunday afternoon.
According to hospital sources, he refused to give hospital and police officers the name of the individual who inflicted the grievous wounds on him. The police have since launched an investigation into the matter.
