GCB to stage Wicketkeepers’ Clinic today
The Guyana Cricket Board will be conducting a Wicketkeeping Clinic at the National Stadium today and tomorrow from 10:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs each day.
The Clinic will be facilitated by local coaches, which will include former National Wicketkeepers. Similar to the recently held Fast Bowlers’ Clinic, the participants of this clinic are expected to go through assessment and analysis phases (including players’ self analysis) before recommendations are made and consensus reached to enhance their proficiency.
The Wicketkeepers invited to the Clinic are: Anthony Bramble, Delbert Hicks, Kwaise Mentore, Andy Mohan (Berbice), Parmeshwar Neela, Wayne Osborne (Essequibo), Joseph Perry, Dexter Soloman, Maxwell Fraser, Denver Greaves, Derwin Christian, Delroy Jacobs, Tyrell Tull, Safraz Esau (Demerara). In addition, three wicketkeepers from Suriname will also be involved in the activities.
