Ganesh Parts tackles Everest
Friday cricket is set to engulf the Everest Cricket Club ground tomorrow from 18:00hrs. Ganesh Parts will take on the host team Everest in a game that will be used as the first of five trial matches for the selection of players who will be taking part in the Florida Cup set for February in the USA.
The match is a 25 overs affair and only yellow “Floodlight” balls will be used. Managing Director Roopnauth Persaud of Ganesh Parts and General Store of 36 Robb Street, Georgetown is the sponsor of all the trophies. Admission to the venue is free.
