Outstanding Badminton players receive prizes
The Guyana Badminton Association Sterling Products Junior Singles Tournament presentation of prizes was done last Friday at the Queens College Badminton Courts.
The respective winners display their trophies following the presentation of prizes.
The top three players in the various categories collected rewards for their efforts. Michael Alphonso, Neromini Persram and Sadika Vieira assisted in the distribution of prizes to the outstanding players. The Under-11 & 13 singles tournament was played from October 6 to 8 at QC.
Those receiving prizes were:
Under-11 Boys Singles: 1st Narayan Ramdhani, 2nd Jordan Isaacs, 3rd Shane Shewjattan
Under-11 Girls Singles: 1st Priyanna Ramdhani, 2nd Lydia Alphonso, 3rd Emma Vieira
Under-13 Boys Singles: 1st Narayan Ramdhani, 2nd Amandeep Alvis, 3rd Andrew Peroune
Under-13 Girls Singles: 1st Priyanna Ramdhani, 2nd Mariah Low, 3rd Arianne Chand
The Sterling Products sponsored Junior Singles Tournament continues October 20 to 24 in the Under-15,17 & 19 divisions.
Play runs from 4:30pm to 6:30 pm. All entries must be submitted before October 18.
