Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) and Transport Sports Club (TSC) will face off today from 09:30hrs at Bourda in the final of the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) Beharry Cup second division cricket competition.

DCC, who got past Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in their semi-final, is a strong contender to take the inaugural Beharry Cup title and there team is a mixture of youth and experience.
Skipper Lyndon Lyght, former Guyana youth player Alfred Mentore, Andre Legall, Edward Burnette and Gladwin Brandis should be complimented by youngsters Denver Greaves, Lawrence Smith, Torilo Scipio, Denis Squires, Kester Harcourt and Matthew Marques who is one of the most level headed young cricketers in the county.
TSC, who squeezed past Malteenoes in their semi-final match-up, will be led by Shaun Massiah while a lot will be depended on with the bat from Travis Blyden and Stephen Alves.
The umpires for today’s game are Shannon Crawford, Reginald Grant and Rudolph Rose while Grantley Culbard is the match referee.
