DEAR EDITOR,
Mr. President of Guyana, you are urged to show the entire world those tapes you talked about which show politicians imbibing with criminals.
Mr. President, the reason I say this is very simple. If left alone, then one day we or our children might vote for those very politicians. Mr. President, can you imagine innocent Guyanese voting for these very politicians to put them in power?
Mr. President, I ask what if an ordinary citizen was to have a tape with criminal activities with incriminating evidence on it? Would that citizen not be charged as an accessory to a crime?
Mr. President, you and our security forces are also citizens of our country and are urged to do what’s right for the law-abiding Guyanese people.
With today’s technology, the names and faces of those who made the tapes can be covered for their protection. The criminals and their political masters must be exposed for the entire world to see them for what they are.
These political masters must be brought to justice; if not, they will hire more gun-toting youths to carry out their nefarious agendas.
We are afraid that more innocent people will be robbed, raped, killed, maimed, and be disfigured if these people are not exposed and/or brought to justice.
Stop the naysayers once and for all. Show the world that you are not covering up for politicians like yourself. Mr. President, it is in your power to ensure that your words reflect who you are.
You are urged to do what is right for this nation, and this nation demands that all see who are aligned with criminals.
T. King
