Slain vagrants died from fractured skulls
Autopsies conducted yesterday on the two murdered vagrants have revealed that both victims died from fractured skulls.
There is a theory that 25-year-old Alecia Roberts and 39-year-old Kamow Adamale were killed by the same person.
Police have received reports that Roberts, who was of unsound mind, was clubbed to death by a mentally ill man last week Wednesday as she lay sleeping on a bench in Camp Street.
A police press release had also stated that Adamale, called ‘Soldier Man’, was lying on a stall near America and Longden Streets on Friday when a man struck him on the head with a piece of wood.
Adamale’s body was discovered on the pavement in a pool of blood with a wound at the back of the head.
Police officials say that the suspect is a brown-skinned man who roams the city with a wooden club in his hand.
Information reaching Kaieteur News indicated that he had been implicated in a murder some years ago.
He has not been seen since the two vagrants were slain.
