Stealing has become a national pastime but it will not always be plain sailing for the perpetrators.
One man is going to try to use a gun on an armed off duty policeman. There is no need to ask about the outcome.
At the hospital the man is going to claim how the policeman just shot him for nothing. The news media will investigate and in the end the story will come out.

From the time the schools closed their doors I warned about the silly season, that cars will speed along the roadway in the haste to collect passengers since there is not the ready flow of school children.
Two more young people are going to die horribly and the police would continue to call for disciplined road use.

A protest is looming over a certain action by the police. They are going to arrest a group of young people and the parents and friends are going to get really angry.
Someone is going to hurl a rock at the police and all hell would break loose. The politicians will get involved and there will be talk of police brutality.
What is unfortunate is that all this is going to happen at a time there will be an influx of people for a celebrated event.
