Caribbean Airlines is the latest corporate entity to come on board with the Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation for the Cellink Senior Mr. & Miss Guyana Championships set for Thirst Park Friday.
General Manager for the South America Region, Carlton De Four, on Thursday in the Bank of Guyana Board Room, handed over 4-tickets which is part of the overall prizes the winner of the Mr. & Miss Guyana contests will receive.
De Four stated, they are very delighted as usual to be part and parcel of the sport in Guyana and they have always been very supportive.
“My company’s support goes even beyond the seniors as we have already given a commitment to the Federation to assist the athletes and officials who will be representing Guyana at the CAC championships in the Bahamas next month.”
One lucky patron will also win a special door prize come championship night, August 15.
Meanwhile, the GABBFF would like to inform athletes that the weigh in will take place over 2-days.
Thursday August 14 at Olympic House between 17:00 and 19:00hrs and on Friday 15 between 15:00 and 17:00hrs at Thirst Park are the days and times specified.
The Honorable Minister of Culture Youth and Sport Dr. Frank Anthony will deliver the feature opening remarks at the event.
