Bulletin issued for escapee
The Guyana Police Force has issued a wanted bulletin for Shawn Yapp, called Shawn Peters or Shawn Smith, following his escape from the Timehri Prison on Wednesday last (August 06, 2008).
He was imprisoned on a charge of larceny of a motor cycle. The wanted man is of African descent, aged between 32 and 35 years, is 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 metres) in height, is of medium build, and is brown in complexion.
Anyone having information that may lead to the arrest of Shawn Yapp, called Shawn Peters or Shawn Smith, is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 226-9941, 226-6978, 227-6123, 911 or at the nearest police station.
