Tenelec First Division 50-over semis set for tomorrow
With the rainy weather recently giving way to dryer conditions in the Ancient County, the Berbice Cricket Board of Control has decided to resume it’s first division cricket programme this weekend.
The 2007 Tenelec Inc First Division 50 Overs Cricket Competition continues with the two previously rained out semi-final matches tomorrow.
Zone A winner Rose Hall Community Centre of Canje will take on Zone B runner-up Albion Community Centre at Albion Community Centre Ground with umpires Roshan Moakhan and Jaipersaud Hardeo officiating while over at the Scotsburg Ground in Corriverton, Zone B champion Scotsburg United will host the Zone A second placed team Young Warriors of Canje.
Umpires Dhieranidranauth Somwaru and Joseph Simon will do duties in that match. Play is scheduled to start at 09.30 hours.
