All weekend matches in the 2008 Cellink Plus Premier League have been postponed due to the current inclement weather.
The Georgetown Football Association said they have been forced to cancel all the weekend matches which were due for last night and tomorrow at the Tucville ground.
Defending champions Alpha United were scheduled to face Santos and the struggling Pele were to take on table toppers Sunburst Camptown last evening.
Tomorrow’s matches were to feature Fruta Conquerors against bottom of the table Uprising and Georgetown Football Club against the Guyana Defence Force. These matches will be rescheduled based on the weather.
Courts Pee Wee League
Action in the Courts Pee Wee League will be contested from 08:00hrs today at the Banks DIH Thirst Park ground.
Santos opposes Plaisance from 08:00 hrs to be followed by a clash between Fruta Conquerors and Strike Again one hour later.
The final match up of the day brings together Sunburst Camptown and Beacons.
