Keith Josiah, 48, of 220 Thomas Street, Kitty, died at the Georgetown Public Hospital shortly after 20:00 hours last night while undergoing emergency medical attention.
According to the man’s sister who took him to hospital, she heard Keith screaming at the gate and demanding his son. She said that she rushed outside in time to see him collapse at the gate.
Close inspection revealed that he had been stabbed and he had sustained a gaping chop across his forehead.
A source said that while he could not say when Josiah suffered his injuries, he was certain that the man reached the hospital in the company of his sister at 19:25 hours.
The sister told hospital personnel that her brother must have been involved in an altercation with persons unknown and someone must have witnessed the chopping. However, no one has come forward with information, the sister told hospital sources.
