DEAR EDITOR,
In response to AFC member Sewnauth Punalall letter captioned “There are no political strings attached to this initiative” (Kaieteur News, June 27-08.)
Mr. Sewnauth, in his response to my letter stated:
“In case Mr. King wants to know who is really supporting criminal activities in Guyana, he needs to find out who were burning out sugar cane fields in the 70s when GAWU was fighting for union recognition.
And if he is not old enough or literate enough to read history of a few decades ago, we have the Roger Khan episode unfolding before our eyes”.
What does this have to do with AFC begging for donations to buy plant seeds to grow foods to gain political mileage?
I am old enough and literate enough to see AFC’s transparency.
If you Mr. Sewnauth are old enough and literate enough then you would have seen what your boss intends on sending to the United Nations.
Are you, Mr. Sewnauth, literate enough to not see the AFC is sending a letter to the UN to investigate the criminals that Roger Khan allegedly killed?
Do you have any proof, facts or one shred of evidence that Roger Khan killed anyone in Guyana or anywhere else?
Mr. Sewnauth, if you have any evidence against Roger Khan then I am sure you are literate enough to know where to take it.
Since you know who burnt those cane fields in the 70s, why not make it public so they can be brought to trial?
Don’t you have anything else to go on or are you just ignorant about what your boss man is up to?
Begging for donations to plant seeds is nothing but a political gimmick.
Do you think that begging for donations to plant your seeds will win you votes in the coming elections to be held in 2011?
Mr. Sewnauth, you will have to plant more than your seeds into the hearts and minds of Guyanese in order to gain their trust and to win their votes.
Mr. Sewnauth, you can change the tiger but you can not change its stripes. Are you old enough or literate enough to know that?
T. King
