Essequibo students visit Kaieteur News
Yesterday, a group of 80 students and seven teachers from the Essequibo Islands Secondary School, Wakenaam, visited Kaieteur News as part of an educational trip to Georgetown.
During their visit, the students visited the newsroom, the pressroom and the editorial department of Kaieteur News, providing them with exposure to the entire process of producing the newspaper.
The visitors found the tour informative and a few of the students expressed their interest in journalism
