The two men and the minor who have been charged for the murder of Jermaine Anderson, who was killed outside of the Demico House Liquor Restaurant on Brickdam, were yesterday further remanded. Their next date is May 23.
Only Selassie Mc Farlane and Cereste Rogers appeared in court. The 14-year-old, the court was told, was still at the Ruimveldt lock-ups.
Initially, the case was called before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, who has since sent it back to the Principal Magistrate for reassignment.
Jermaine Anderson, 20, was stabbed with a pair of scissors reportedly by the accused, who allegedly attacked him on the stairs of the liquor restaurant. He succumbed shortly after at the Georgetown Public Hospital Accident and Emergency Unit.
