Kaieteur News – A one-year-old baby was on Thursday crushed to death by a tractor his father operated at Canal No. 1, West Bank Demerara (WBD).
The child has been identified as Talesh Bhudhram.
Kaieteur News understands that the child was in upper floor of the family’s home when his father went into the yard to operate the tractor.
The man was reportedly unaware that the child made his way into the yard.
The child’s father was taken into police custody.
Investigations are ongoing.
