Kaieteur Sports – Fresh from representing Guyana as an official at the Junior Pan Am Games, the President of Archery Guyana (AG) and General Secretary of the Guyana Olympic Association, Mrs Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon, continues her tireless service to sport.
This latest assignment was part of a strong Guyanese delegation, which also included Mr. Godfrey Munroe, President of the GOA; Ms. Carolyn Garraway, Welfare Officer; and Ms. Sileena Arjune, Chef-de-Mission, to name a few.
Her role at the Games was just one of the many hats she wears in the national sporting arena, balancing leadership, advocacy, and representation with grace and determination.
Her schedule was a whirlwind of meetings, planning sessions, and strategic discussions, all aimed at advancing sport in Guyana.
Balancing commitments at home and abroad is no small feat, yet she approaches each responsibility with professionalism, passion, and a deep love for the Olympic values.
Her work is a reminder that progress in sport requires not only talent on the field but also strong leadership and advocacy behind the scenes.
