Kaieteur News- Dem boys seh pressure does buss pipe, but sometimes it does buss ego too — even Trump own.

De man bin puff up he chest and drop 10% tariff pon everybody like rain in rainy season. And Guyana get hit with a 38% tariff.  But guess what? He now suspend most of dem tariff fuh 90 days — except fuh China, who now getting lash with a 104% tariff! Dem boys seh da is not just a slap, da is a kung fu kick.

But leh we break it down fuh y’all. Dis lil pause from Trump come not because he like we smile or he suddenly get soft. Nah. Is because some people decide not to roll over like puppy when America bark. Dem fight back, dem push back, and now Uncle Sam deh pon pause.

So wah does da show? Simple. When yuh stand up to pressure, yuh don’t just get respect — yuh might actually get results. But Guyana? Dem boys seh we still deh pon we knees polishing Uncle Sam boots like is Sunday service.

All Trump had to do was wave a tariff and everybody in dis govament start panic like when a man cough during COVID.

And all dis fuss over trade surplus — which ain’t even real-real, because is Exxon shipping out de oil like it expire next week. Tek out de oil and Guyana deh back in de red like school exercise book.

So dem boys seh if de oil is de problem, leh Exxon go sell it in Iceland. Or better yet, leh govament buy it and sell it elsewhere other than in America. But nah, we too busy playing nice while America deh playing hardball.

Dem Canadians? Dem show spine. Cut back pon American goods, hold back from crossing border fuh Disney and Denny’s. And Trump listen. But here? We still hustling visa like is Black Friday deal.

So dem boys seh dis 90-day break prove something — if yuh stand up, even Trump does blink. But not we. We gon wait till de 90 days done, and when he slap on more tariffs, we gon start cry fuh help again.

Dem boys seh spine nah come in aid package. Yuh gotta grow it.
