Kaieteur News- During the reading of bids at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) office it was revealed that the Ministry of Home Affairs is looking to spend approximately $141 million more to complete the works on the Juvenile Holding Centre at Sophia, Georgetown.
According to the information provided by NPTAB, a total of 21 contractors have submitted bids to undertake the works. The reconstruction of the Holding Centre began last year to the tune of $243.1 million.
