Kaieteur News- Police believe that a Venezuelan woman who disappeared 15-days-ago might have been abducted and murdered.
The victim, Miguelys Centeno worked at bar in Eccles, East Bank Demerara (EBD) and reportedly left work around 01:00 hrs on the day she went missing. Police have since issued a wanted bulletin for a Brazilian man identified as Teles Pereira.
Investigators want to question him about the abduction of Centeno at Diamond East Bank Demerara (EBD). She was reportedly last seen joining his truck. Centeno’s friends said that she lives in Timerhi, EBD but sleeps at Diamond when she finishes a late shift just to be safe.
They revealed too that the suspect and Centeno are not acquainted with each other and that she had just asked him for a lift(hitchhike) to her home. She not seen or heard from again since then.
Investigators have since located some skeletal remains at 9 Mile, Mabura trail, Region Ten and are conducting DNA testing to see if they might belong to Centeno.
Investigations continue as family members brace for the worse.
