Kaieteur News-A 20-year-old labourer was sentenced on Friday to three months’ imprisonment, when he appeared at the Suddie Magistrates’ Court to answer to a simple larceny charge.
Kevin Oudit, a resident of Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast, Region Two appeared before Magistrate Tamieka Clarke, where the charge was read to him.
He pleaded guilty to the simple larceny charge.
It is alleged that he committed the offence on 28-year-old Mahendra Looknauth called ‘Ryan’ on January 18, 2025.
Following his plea, the Magistrate sentenced him to three months’ imprisonment.
