Romario Shepherd celebrating a wicket with his West Indies team mates in the recently concluded ODI series against England.
Kaieteur Sports-Guyana and West Indies cricketers Keemo Paul and Romario Shepherd have rendered support to the ongoing Region one U13 Tapeball competition which commenced recently at Kamwatta Recreation ground.
The competition is being organised Sebai Primary School PTA and is being played under the theme “End Child Labor “.
Paul and Shepherd have collaborated to sponsor the 1st place cash prize of $300,000 for the regional final, while the trophies have been donated be International Organisation for Migration. The Ministry of Labour has sponsored the sub regional winners and runners-up trophies.
Additionally, Orlando Rogers of One Plus Total Solutions and Skywest Charter service donated the 2nd place cash prize of $200,000. Other sponsors include ASP Chandradat Kooldeep, Maureen Rebeiro, Pro Red Resources, Peter De Freitas, International Imports and Supplies, Breeze Enterprise, Frontier Pharmacy, Mr. Ram Supreme Construction, Toshau Barmeter, CDC Chair Matthew’s Ridge, Alana James Amin and Department of Education Region One.
The competition will conclude on November 16 at Fitzburg Recreational ground.
