CWI Regional U19 2-Day tournament, Guyana vs. Trinidad & Tobago Day 2…
Kaieteur Sports – Day 2 saw a stale finish as Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago played to a draw at the Cumberland Playing Field Ground, despite 9 wickets between spinners Goolcharran Chulai and Krsna Singh.
Guyana led by 249 runs after opener Rampertab Ramnauth hit 79 and Andrew Lim 53, to help their side post 249 all out in their first innings.
Trinidad and Tobago were rattled out after much resistance thanks to in-form left-arm spinner and leading wicket-taker for Guyana, Chulai snared 6 wickets.
His spin partner Singh also snared 3 wickets which triggered the follow-on. Trinidad crept to 67-5 in their second innings with not much coming from their batting line and all-rounder Thaddeus Lovell picking up two of the 5 wickets to fall.
Guyana will play Jamaica today, Tuesday.
Left-arm Golcharran Chulai finished another match with five or more wickets.
