Kaieteur News – The Palestinians were first blown out of their homes, then driven from their villages, and last settled in what is called a ‘safe zone.’ In this so-called ‘safe zone’ cobbled together by the Israeli Government and its relentless war machine, 12 Palestinians were killed by Israeli bombs dropped from the air. Nine of the twelve blown up in this ‘safe zone’ were from one family. The fog of war knows no identity, the hate that fuels barbarisms of this nature, have no limit. Men, women, and children killed or mowed down or maimed for life, and this is in a ‘safe zone.’ If that was what occurred in a ‘safe zone’, then what still unknown and deadly catastrophes are multiplying in theaters of war, unsafe zones? Human beings are hunted like rabbits, with no distinction for civilians, and then blown to bits, and this is called war. And there is some difficulty in America in calling it for what it is: a human holocaust that rains fire from the air, a genocide that grinds as efficiently and ruthlessly as any gas chamber. There is some irony there, with those who were once victims of an incomparable horror, now the perpetrators of a new kind of unimaginable evil.
Hospitals are bombed and people killed, and the world of the civilized West found that it has no conscience, no voice left. After the frequent lectures about human rights and human rights violations and abuses, where is civilized Europe and the rights of man, the world’s policeman, the United States of America? This is not simple hypocrisy, it is about those who are harlots of truth, against what is right, and about what could bring a halt to the killing fields of Gaza with one phone call made. Refuges’ camps are smashed to pieces, with more dying and where death carves out a rich harvest. By what measure of reasoning, what standard of law and justice, the US and the UK and the EU still retain the high ground to tell the Third World, about how the civilized comport themselves? To tell anybody anything about what is right, when they condone so much of what is wrong, horribly wrong?
It is American made warplanes, those F-15s, F-16s, and F-35s, with their American made bombs that are proving so utterly destructive to Palestinian life, Palestinian existence. Whether casualties of war, or collateral damage, the result are that Palestinians are still dead, or dying, or being driven out of their homes by planes and bombs and bullets, and other ordinances, that have one common stamp on them. The stamp tells it all: Made in America. Made for killing, made for destroying, made for delivering death in ‘safe zones.’ The question is no longer how America is still capable of looking at itself. The issue is how does America live with itself. America can find the will and the wherewithal to intervene and stop slaughter in other parts of the world. But it is handcuffed and hogtied to do anything for the inconvenient and irritating people of Palestine, who have to be taught a lesson so harsh that they will never forget. Vengeance has no limits in its viciousness, no lines that are not crossable.
Food convoys have been attacked and workers carrying a little relief vittles are killed. What was heard in the aftermath was the reflexive, what have been seen were the saying for saying something sake(protests) from America and Europe. They were so feeble as to make those who uttered them the epitome of foolishness. This is how farcical America now appears in the eyes of a watching world. It is how contemptible America has made itself in the minds of the colored people of the world, those scorned and dismissed as ‘uncivilized’ and no better than animals. Who is uncivilized now, who qualifies as having all the attributes and impulses of animals? It cannot be the defenseless Palestinians. It cannot be the Black people of Africa. Nor can it be the yellow and brown hordes of Asia.
Palestinians are dying on their feet and in their sleep. Meanwhile, Americans pretend at sleep, while giving free rein to Israel to destroy uncontrollably.
