Monday’s horrific accident on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway that claimed the lives of five Guyanese should be a wakeup call for the authorities to do more to prevent any future such accidents.
Mobile speed cameras should be installed along the Linden-Soesdyke Highway and strategically across other highways on WCD, Corentyne, ECD, etc. to detect and prevent speeding. Speeding kills and yesterday’s accident is a clear reminder of this. Now what will be done to prevent a recurrence?
With best regards,
Marcus Perry
