Kaieteur Sports – Kataleya Shenera Sam, a talented young chess player was selected by the Guyana Chess Federation to represent her country in the Pan American Youth Championships XXXIV in Orlando, Florida and Mr Azruddin Mohamed expressed pleasure to be a part of her journey via some sponsorship.
Ms. Sam is currently the reigning champion in the U12 category and has maintained an undefeated record since 2023. In addition, she has shown exceptional skill and dedication to chess.
The businessman’s sponsorship not only demonstrates his commitment to supporting young talents like Ms. Sam but also highlights his belief in the power of sports and competition to inspire and empower the next generation. With his contribution, the talented player will have the necessary resources to travel to Orlando, participate in the prestigious championships, and showcase her skills on an international stage.
