Kaieteur Sports – Off-spinner Kwesi Mickle grabbed four wickets to help Tucber Park secure a spot in the upcoming semi-finals of the BCB Premier T20 1st Division Tournament.
At the Rose Hall Community Centre Ground, Rose Hall Community Centre Cricket Club was knocked over for 80 in 16.2 overs after batting first.
Senior off-spinner Kwesi Mickle led the bowling with figures of 4-13 with support from Joemal LaFleur 2-22.
In reply Tucber Park raced to 81-3 after some 8 overs. National Under-19 all-rounder Zeynul Ramsammy led the batting with 38, while Mickle and Malcom ended on 5 and 8 not out respectively.
The semis will be played after the upcoming visit by former West Indies pacer, Sir Curtly Ambrose.
Also, the BCB will be hosting trials for all U19 female cricketers (born on or after September 1st 2004).
Players are asked to report at the Port Mourant Community Center Ground, on Wednesday 3rd April 2024 at 15:00h, ahead of preparation for the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Female U19 Inter-County tournament.
