Kaieteur News – At about 21:00 hrs on Saturday, Police ranks on the East Coast of Demerara were on mobile patrol duty at Section ‘C’ Golden Grove, where a group of men were seen liming at a ‘culvert’.
On seeing the Police patrol vehicle approaching them, they ran in different directions, during which one of the men dropped a bulky plastic bag. Police ranks checked the bag and discovered that it contained one .38 revolver without any rounds in the chamber. The firearm will be processed for fingerprints, police said in a press release.
