Kaieteur Sports – “The Chief Archery Club,” under the leadership of Toshao Yvonne Pearson, Member of Parliament and renowned community leader of Mainstay/Whyaka Village, Region 2, is now officially affiliated with Archery Guyana, the national governing body for archery in Guyana.
Having flourished informally with active member participation in the annual Heritage Games, the club marks a significant milestone by formalizing its affiliation with Archery Guyana.
Their affiliation not only solidifies the club’s dedication to the sport but also paves the way for further growth and development.
Acknowledging Toshao Yvonne Pearson’s unwavering dedication and leadership, President of Archery Guyana, Persaud-McKinnon, extends heartfelt congratulations to the esteemed Toshao, highlighting her pivotal role in elevating the club to new heights.
As a gesture of support and encouragement, President Persaud-McKinnon presents the club with essential start-up equipment, including two complete target stands, target butts, arrows, and junior recurve bows, among others.
Expressing gratitude for the generous support, Toshao Pearson underscores the significance of this affiliation, emphasizing the opportunities it brings for the club to advance the sport within Guyana, the region, and beyond.
