Kaieteur News – Workers have been paid and de lines at the ATM machines longer dan twine. People lining up fuh draw dem money fuh dem month’s expense and fuh de long Easter weekend.
And nuff of dem ATM running out of money. It aggravating people who have to drive all over town to find a working ATM.
When yuh in de line, yuh does get nuff laughs. A woman deh taking money out of an ATM, when de person behind her says, “Ha! Ha! I know your password. It’s four asterisks.”
The first women replies, “Ha! Ha! No it’s not. It’s 3862.”
But we gat some people who can’t stand in line. Dem does always somehow stand outside of line and jump in when dem time reach to enter de ATM.
You ever see one a dem standin’ dere like a lost sheep, waitin’ to be herded into de fold? It’s like dem gan get some kind of injury if dem stand up in the line or dem believe dem too big fuh be standing in line. So dem does stand at de side of de line. Keeping a straight line is an allergy to dem.
Some of dem ATM running out of cash and it stretching people’s patience. One man get so angry de odder day dat he seh he going inside de bank to complain to de manager. Within seconds, he come out back and claim how, “De complaints line inside longer than de ATM line outside.”
So as yuh bob and weave through dis ATM maze, remember dis: stay calm, stay straight (in de line, dat is), and may yuh pockets be fat with cash and yuh wit sharper dan a freshly sharpened cutlass. Dem boys seh, “Keep de line straight, nah bend it like Beckham!”
