Kaieteur Sports – The programme titled “A perfect place for your Child to be” with the Girls preparing for an International Windball Tournament overseas got a boost recently with a timely donation. Former Windball Captain of North Georgetown Secondary School, Natasha Tinnis, who is based overseas, donated a set of Tennis Balls to All Star Sports Club (ASTP). Shaun Lewis “Shavers” made the presentations of the balls to Anessa Chatram on behalf of Natasha Tinnis.
Tinnis, also played Circle Tennis, for her school Girls team during the 90s and was a member of the then All Star Sports Club. The current players in a simple ceremony thanked the donor for her kind gesture and will ensure the balls be put to good use.
This programme is organised by Sports Officer A. Munroe and has been assisted by officials of ASTP, B. Persaud, N. Hope, A. Allen, M. Trotman and S. Lewis along with female officials P. Williams and S. Singh.
