In her new book, ‘Submission’, Guyanese author and speaker, Alicia Martin challenges her readers to take a step back and examine the true meaning of a fulfilled life.
A book deeply rooted in her Christian beliefs serves as a roadmap to help readers navigate the path to living a transformed life by true wisdom, wealth and abundance.
The book which was launched on Saturday is Martin’s second installment of her published work. Her first book, ‘Slay in Purity’ published in 2021, is a guide to experiencing a spiritually fulfilling lifestyle. The first book was specifically addressed to Christian Ministers of the Arts.
In her second book, Martin follows up with faith-based material and delivers guidelines on how submission to God—the Creator of all things can unlock one’s divine purpose and lead to a truly wholesome life.
As the author explains “This book is my loving contribution to helping you develop the mindset and practices needed to live a life of submission to God. In this book, I delve into areas that will help you ignite flames of perseverance, willpower, and wisdom necessary for submissive living in accordance with divine guidance.”
She added, “It is my hope and belief that this book will help you to shift trajectories, break generational curses and provide an opportunity for transformation in all aspects of your life. Physical and spiritual wealth is absolutely achievable.”
Martin is as a Minister of Dance, the director and founder of the Royalty Dance Ministries, the visionary behind the Arise Dance Workshop, and the host and producer of a series for dance ministers, titled, ‘The Vessel’. She is also a dance instructor.
She is the holder of a Bachelor’s Degree and Diploma in Communication Studies from the University of Guyana (UG).
She possesses a Certificate and Diploma in Dance from the Institute of Creative Arts and the National School of Dance, and a certificate in TEN Pageantry from the Eagles International Training Institute, Guyana.
Martin is a motivational speaker and a purpose-driven young woman who strives for excellence in all that she pursues.
