It is being posited the weekly PAC meetings ‘not always possible for ministers’ (KN Jan 11). While this might be so, table what is possible, suitable, and convenient. Whether it be fortnightly or monthly, put a proposal out for discussion and ratification, bearing in mind the volume of work to be done.
The rhetoric is unhelpful as is staying away and not turning up to a statutory meeting, which should be factored into members’ calendar of activities, is unacceptable and creates all kinds of unnecessary conclusions. This is a simple matter which can be dealt with maturely and professionally in finding mutually agreeable solutions.
Yours truly,
Shamshun Mohamed
