Kaieteur Sports – Bishop’s High School and University of Guyana were on winners’ row in competition in the Titan Bowl XII Basketball tournament currently being played.
In Game 1 of the latest round, Bishop’s High School scored 67 points to defeat Linden Technical Institute on 48 points.
Carmelo Mansonhing (29 pts, 4ast, 7rbs) and Matthias Arrindell (27pts, 7ast, 7rbs) led the winners, while for Linden Technical Institute Lerone Joseph (13 pts, 11pts) and Julian Gordon (13pts, 8rbs) were the standouts.
In the Tertiary Knockout, Game 2 on the day resulted in University of Guyana recording 64 points with Jether Harris (19pts,4rbs), Kobe Tappin (12pts, 5rbs), Jushawn Bailey (12pts, 7rbs) and Leandre Abrams (11pts) to brush aside New Amsterdam Technical Institute with 49 points.
Charles Williams (27pts, 9rbs) and Qwesi Joseph (8pts) were the top shots for the losers.
