That they died in defence of country, in protecting the lives of countless others leaving behind their distraught mothers, fathers, wives and children; their deaths must not be in vain.
This tragedy must be cause for introspection and reflection and must serve to eschew among Guyanese all forms of discrimination, division and hatred. This tragedy must serve to bring recognition to the fact that out of many we are One People, One Nation, One Destiny. Condolences to all the bereaved families.
