Based on the recent actions by the Maduro Government to continue the annexation of Essequibo after the recent referendum, Guyana must break diplomatic ties between our two countries.
Our diplomats in Venezuela must be recalled home and our embassy there closed.
It is also important that the Venezuelan embassy in Guyana be closed and their ambassador and members of their diplomatic team be expelled from Guyana until the Government of Venezuela withdraws its claim on Essequibo.
Sincerely,
Mr. Jamil Changlee
