CWI CG United Super50 Cup Trinidad and Tobago Red Force vs. Guyana Harpy Eagles

Kaieteur Sports – Trinidad and Tobago Red Force Captain Darren Bravo stroked an unbeaten, match-winning half-century while Terrance Hinds bagged 4 wickets, piloting their side to an easy 6 wicket win over Guyana Harpy Eagles, booking a place in this weekend’s final.
Trinidad and Tobago Red Force made work of the chase, cruising to 107-4 thanks to their captain Bravo who finished on 53 off 70 not out.
The left-hander stroked 8 fours and found support from in-form opener Kjorn Ottley who hit 35, as the pair will enter the finals as the leading run-scorers of the competition.
Left arm spinner Gudakesh Motie put up a spirited performance in hopes of keeping the Eagles in the game, ending with 3-20. Veerasammy Permaul was the other bowler to finish with a wicket (1-16).
Earlier, Sherfane Rutherford hit 30 down the order, following a dangerous spell from Hinds, who ran through the attack with 4-15, keeping Guyana to 105 in 34.3 overs following a dismal performance batting first.
Opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul was the only other Eagle batsman to reach double figures, with 22.
Spinner Yannick Cariah took his overall total to 18, adding to his previous tally of 16 after snaring 2-14 while his spin partners, Sunil Narine (1-12) and Akeal Hosein (1-13), we’re tremendous during their spells.
Today’s second semi-final will see Leeward Islands Hurricanes playing Barbados Pride for a place against the Trinis in this Saturday’s final.
