Kaieteur Sports – Play in the Hamilton Green’s 9-a-side Inter-Ward Knockout Football competition continues this evening at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground.
Following the opening night which unfolded with four exhilarating matches, each culminating in gripping penalty shootouts that saw Festival City, Sophia, Airy Hall, and Stewartville etched their names in victory through epic penalty showdowns, the action will see eight teams seeking to make their mark.
The scheduled action kicks off at 6:00pm with BV facing Lilliendaal, followed by Back Circle against Wales, Kitty face Crane, Road Warriors battle Sara Lodge, Gold is Money tangle with No.1 All Stars, Agricola collide with Albouystown, Ann’s Grove oppose Mocha and Stabroek Ballers challenge Paradise Invaders.
The competition promises to be keen with several leading players expected to be on show for the respective teams.
The action resumes Sunday at the same venue.
