Kaieteur News – Some businesses are held together for many years and operate smoothly, simply because they remain true to core value that “success is assured where a team spirit is present.” This is definitely the atmosphere at Tony’s Auto Spares.

While one would expect, the business headquartered at Lot 72, Light Street, Alberttown, Georgetown would exude the expected ‘raunchy and masculine energy’, that is usually associated such entities. This is not the case, as this entity emits a soft and comfortable atmosphere, which is noticeable from the receptionist’s desk to the administrative section and managers’ offices.

A recent visit to the location by this publication and it was noted that the building was well decorated.

The business has been doing its part to spread awareness; there were slogans, signs and pretty bunches of pink and white balloons everywhere, even the employees were in decked in attire in keeping with this month’s observance of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Marketing Manager, Subrina Bhagwandin shared that at Tony’s, team spirit is the order of the day, and is the driving force behind the resounding success as an auto spares distributor.

Bhagwandin said that she worked at different reputable companies and none can compare to Tony’s. She lauded the Managing Director, Tony Ramcharran, always emphasizes on the importance of team spirit to the staff.

“We have a leader who cares about us and our well-being and goes as far as the well-being of our families.  He checks up on us from time to time to see how we doing, he ensures that we have all the right tools to have our duties completed with ease, he speaks to us with respect, and most importantly, he listens to our ideas and he gave us the freedom to be creative…”

The Marketing Manager also assured that customers are treated with vital importance. “We have refund policies, packaging, and strive daily to stay in conformance with consumer legislation,” she said.

A senior employee, Aleesa Ali also heaped praises on their Managing Director.

She said, “I have been working here for over ten years, and I have seen much growth where my personality and experience is concerned. My boss is to be greatly complimented as he has taken great pains to mold me into an employee who now grasps fully, the importance of customer satisfaction, and great customer service… He is kind and patient, and is not a boss who walks around with his nose in the air. He is very considerate, very down to earth, and gives us that extra courage to go on, even when we may be facing challenges”.

With customer service and satisfaction as priority factors of the business, folks there are preparing for much expansion in the near future, and this is to ensure that they are able to meet the needs of customers, all around Guyana.

Acting Branch Manager, Jasper Ramcharran affirmed that team spirit, and great customer service are factors that allows them to execute, ‘cutting edge service, and customer relations’.

“Tony Auto Spares strives relentlessly to always give to customers, ‘a cutting edge services. We always strive to be different, and to always be a notch higher where customer relations’ are concerned.”

Ciana Harris, another employee explained how working with the company has changed her life.

“I have been working at Tony’s for the past four months…I enjoy it here at Tony’s because I work in an area that interests me and inspires me to learn and I do believe my role plays an integral part on the company as a whole. I appreciate the fact that my managers appreciate my efforts and encourage my development and I am respected as an employee and not treated merely as a number,” she said.

She added “I work with supportive colleagues, who always know how to make me smile even on the dullest of days.  Working at Tony’s, I see room for personal development as an individual. And I am so much better off as a person with great mentorship, which I have received from my boss, Mr. Tony Ramcharran”.

Similarly, Leon Ragnauth was elated as he detailed how the company manages to deliver good service and, ‘shines bright like a diamond.’

“I have been here for quite a while, and I simply love it here. Working at Tony’s Auto Spares has allowed for much growth in me as a person. Every department and happy customers,” he said.

The company was plans to play a major role in other upcoming observances, and will also be hosting a series of, ‘special events’, as they gear up for anniversary celebrations, in March 2024
